Personal Data Processing Notice (information for candidates)

The protection of your personal data is an absolute priority for us. As well as maintaining confidentiality – we do not in any case disclose your expressed interest in a job position to your employer, even if you are an employee of our active client. If you are still employed and cannot afford to let your employer know that you are considering other job opportunities, we fully understand this situation. You will know at any time where we have recommended your profile and you will agree to such a recommendation in advance.
The aim of this document
The aim of this document is to provide you with information about the personal data we collect, how we use it, why we collect it, what sources we receive it from, particularly what the purpose of collecting is and who we are permitted to provide the data to.
ALEX PETERSON as a controller of personal data
The controller of your personal data is ALEX PETERSON s.r.o, Beniakova 12, 84105 Bratislava, IČO: 53 175 948 (hereinafter as the „ALEX PETERSON“)
ALEX PETERSON respects the principles of personal data processing. We treat your personal data solely in accordance with applicable laws, especially the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (General Data Protection Regulation), decide on the purpose and means of the processing your personal data, and ensure that your personal data is properly secured.
We regularly evaluate and update our processes so that all stored personal data is protected at the highest level.
Personal data collected by us
Your personal data we can collect in different ways, for example through our websites, third-party career pages, at job-fair events; by telephone or emails; during personal meetings in association with employment intermediation. We can collect personal data from internet, public sources, social media channels or other Internet applications, where their purpose is compatible with the purpose of our data processing (e.g. LinkedIn).
We can collect selected personal data, in particular (to the extent permitted by local legal regulations):
- contact information (e.g. a name and surname, permanent and postal address, email address and telephone number, skype nick);
- information you provide about your friends or other people you want us to contact in association with employment intermediation (the controller assumes that these persons have given their prior consent to such communication); and
- other information you provide us, e.g. in case of surveys or through the Contact form on our Websites.
In addition, in association with employment intermediation we may collect the following categories of personal data (to the extent permitted by local legal regulations):
- work history and history of completed education levels;
- language skills and other abilities related to employment;
- current and expected remuneration / salary
- photograph (if you provide it to us as a part or an attachment to your CV)
- data and place of birth;
- citizenship and work permit status;
- link to your profile on the social networks
- information provided from third persons as references;
- information included in your CV and cover letter;
- information included in other documents you sent us in your application to job advertisement (as diploma or reference letter)
- information you provide with respect to your career interests and other information about your qualifications for employment;
- information related to your employment with our client,
What is the purpose of processing your personal data?
The main purpose of processing and archiving your personal data is employment intermediation and assistance to candidates in becoming successful on labour market and career counseling. Another purpose is registration in a database of job seekers and making offers (single or repeated) by our company for the participation in the selection procedure for vacant job, and – if you are interested – mediating contact with potential employers.
How long do we store your personal data?
Based on your consent, your data processed by us, will be stored by us for a period of 5 years, unless you withdraw the consent earlier. In cases where required by regulations or legal requirements, we archive those documents that contain your data, for the required period.
What rights do you have regarding to the processing of your personal data?
You have the following rights with regard to your personal data:
Right of access – you can ask the controller for access to personal data that is processed about you. Right to rectification – you can ask the controller to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data that are processed about you. Right to erasure – you can ask the controller to erase your personal data
Erasure of personal data
We respect your privacy. If you are interested in not being contacted with job offers, for example during a specific period (new job, parental leave, participation in a project, etc.), please contact us and we will not contact you during the selected period. You can use our address: email@example.com or contact form.
If you choose, anyway, to delete your data from our database, we may inadvertently contact you via social networks (as we will not have any record of your interest in not being contacted).

Personal data shared by us
Your personal data may be shared with potential employers (we will always inform you in advance) for the purpose of our activities as an employment agency and to provide related services. In such situation, ALEX PETERSON and the potential employer are independent controllers of your personal data. We will always inform you in advance, when your CV or personal data will be forwarded to a potential employer.
Personal data may further be provided to authorized state authorities, institutions or other entities, in order to fulfill relevant legal obligations.
